If you have been a reader of this blog for any time, you know that I have a HUGE PROBLEM with ANYTHING that seems like a scam. I’ve questioned Quicken Loans…Capital One Financial…Astonish Results and others.

Several of the things we’ve looked into and asked for input on still seem scam-like today, while others seem more legitimate after getting comments and feedback from people who support their company or cause.

TEAM CCM may be a scam that I brought on myself.

Sadly to say, over a year ago, I paid to be a part of Consumer Choice Marketing. I was paying to become a broker of natual gas service to business customers in Ohio and Michigan. This seemed like an incredible opportunity for a guy who loves to sell and loves to save people money. I trusted the gentleman who SOLD ME on the service…but today that same guy is no longer with the company.

Anyways, things never really played out like I was sold. While I was selling, we were not able to sell gas against Michigan Gas Utilities in SE Michigan. This was a big problem for me and others.

Well, what do you think? I would love to hear different views. I’m sure there are folks out there who have made millions selling natural gas…but not me. There was never enough consistency in the process, and I was never able to build the sales organization that I needed to gain critical mass. Also, it was very strange to me that the executive who introduced me to the company was simply gone several months after I paid my “utility broker fees.”

Thanks for the input…let’s find out if I was duped!

I want to thank those of you who have been reviewing the Team CCM business opportunity. I’ve asked some of the smartest people that I know to give me a critical evaluation of Team CCM, the Natural Gas Choice Programs, Volunteer Energy, Network Marketing, etc…and I have yet to receive negative feedback.

Many of you are hesitant about Network Marketing in general…as I have always been too. But we have all been pretty quick to point out that saving families and businesses money on their natural gas bill and potentially other services they are already using, seems like the most solid networking marketing business model we have ever seen.

This is especially evident when compared to juice’s, travel memberships, soaps, etc.

So that being said, my wife and I are extremely excited about this business opportunity. Sarah is doing a great job working on marketing our services to everyone that she meets. It is really not hard to try to save people money on things they are already spending cash on every month.

I’ve recently joined a partner of mine in the business of marketing natural gas through a new organization… Team CCM

Team CCM is based out of Toledo, OH and was formed recently to market the Natural Gas Choice services of Volunteer Energy in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

I’m extremely excited about this opportunity as it is the first time in my life that I’ve found a network marketing company with something truly exciting to offer. It is so easy to simply ask everyone I meet if they would allow me to see is I can save them some money on their natural gas bill each month. This is very different than asking people to buy juices, vitamins, etc. Nothing like that ever interested me in the past.

I’ve been very impressed with the consistent savings that can be offered by Volunteer Energy when compared to the local gas monopolies in MI, OH, and PA. You can visit the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio’s WEBSITE and review their Apples to Apples chart of the various natural gas Choice providers in Ohio. I was excited to find that Volunteer offered the best variable rate in Ohio the most recent time that chart was published.

I will keep you all posted on my progress in saving everyone in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania money on their monthly natural gas bill!
