I have found the teachings of Christ in the New Testament a guide to surviving anything and NEVER losing hope, no matter what happens. How does anyone even want to get up in the morning and face anything, good or bad, if this is all there is? The Cross changed all of that and offers the only existing belief that leads to Heaven in eternity because no other belief has a Savior that paid the price of salvation. Also, Christ’s teaching also confirm that we live within our means, share, barter, and help others in distress.

A loan modification may or may not have a negative impact to your credit report. You definitely will have a negative impact to your credit if you enter into a trial loan modification, as you will be paying less then what you owe on your original mortgage. Not all loan modifications put you as the homeowner directly into a trial loan modification. Also, your credit report would reflect that you are in a trial loan modification.
