World’s Best Credit Card
Now that I’ve officially dumped Capital One and let you, my friends and loyal readers, know of their evil ways…I’m going to take you along for the ride as I search out and hopefully find the worlds best credit card.
This credit card program must have it all. Great rates, awesome customer service, and particularly an amazing rewards program. The current title goes to my Chase Freedom Card…but I’ve recently found out that they are lowering their rewards points for new customers. (As of now they are not changing the terms of their existing customers.)
Credit Cards have long been a significant tool for me on my personal financial journey and in my business endeavors. But it seems like a good card is becoming more and more hard to come by. I remember when Citibank would give you 2.99% fixed for life with NO FEES. Those were the good old days!
I’LL KEEP YOU POSTED ON MY PROGRESS!

A card that used to be good was the Discover Card. You used to get 1% cash back on purchases. Over the years they have slowly made their card rewards program less and less attractive. Now you only get .25% rebates on your first $2500, it does go up, but you have to spend a bunch. I’m interested in what you will uncover as the best deal available right now.

If you use your credit card well you can attract a lot of savings, but be cautious, the credit card world is a dark world full of fraud and scams.

Gee, you would think that they would offer their new customers a sweet deal just to entice them, not the other way around. BTW, I hope you like memes, because you have just been tagged.

As far as I can tell it’s sort of a ‘tag’ game bloggers play. Someone starts up a theme and then involves other bloggers by ‘tagging’ them. Those bloggers continue the theme and ‘tag’ other bloggers. In a way I suppose it’s a fun way of link sharing.

It’s a tough call though Sire. You also want to show loyalty to your current customers so that they feel like you care about them.

I suppose it all depends on the focus of the blog. Many bloggers use memes to break up and diversify the posts. Some bloggers are also very creative and play with the meme a little so that it blends in with their own blog. Some of this can be shown in the comments left on my post.

Well, its a good choice dumping Cap1. The only reason why I leave my account open with them is that it’s my longest standing card. I am using Citi right now because of the thank you points program, but there are some great ones that you can take advantage of depending on what you’re looking for.

@Hip Hop
That seems to make good sense to stick with one of your longest standing credit relationships. I like the Citi “Thank You” program too. I’m hoping to find a card that offers 2% or more in rebates on everyday purchases that you can redeem for cash…we will see.

Don’t get me started on credit again. If you want to get screwed over, stick with Citibank.

I’ve yet to find a program with a decent rewards program. The one I’m in seems to be kind of silly, building up minimal amounts of points per purchase which I can “Eventually” exchange. I think I’d much prefer cashback.

@CWT
What I’ve found is that credit card companies try to confuse you by using the points system. You think you are getting a 1 or 2% rebate, but you are not because to buy a $200 plane ticket with capital one, you need 35,000 points. So you’re really only getting about .5% rebate on your purchases. That is why I’m sticking ot the cast back also!

You could think about the American Express Blue Card, which I have along with the platinum business American Express. They gave me a high credit limit and have never raised my APR since I’ve had it. And, since I said that, you now know that it’s not a card where you have to pay off the entire balance at the end of each month.
Of course, I’m also hawking the Black Visa Card on my IJS site, but at its high yearly rate, it might not e the best thing at the moment. lol

Thanks for the tip my friend, I will check out the Blue Card for sure. I did see that Black Visa on your site…looks exclusive, and expensive like you said!

Man I am afraid of credit cards, I have too many and haven´t been not to wise, now I have a 17,000 credit card debt, lol.
That were my first reason I moved into the internet to make money and get out of my debt.
Guess the best card is the one that you do not overuse.
